The Internal Food Ordering System enables Chef Lecturers and other authorised users to cost, place, amend and track food and other resource orders, manage budgets and suppliers, and coordinate requirements with Stores or Production Kitchens, with easy access from any internet-connected device.

Internal Food Ordering System

    • Chef Lecturers can place food orders directly with Stores.
    • Order copies can be emailed to:
      • The person placing the order
      • Stores
      • Budget Controllers
      • Relevant distribution lists
    • Previous orders can be easily searched, repeated and adapted for different classes or groups.
    • Individual item costs are displayed when placing an order.
    • Total order cost and cost per student are clearly shown before confirmation.
    • Budget Controllers can view anticipated class costs in advance and intervene where necessary.
    • A diary view provides an overview of all forthcoming orders and classes.
    • Stores can collate orders to create supplier purchasing requirements.
    • Stores have advance notice to source quality produce at the best available price.
    • Orders can be amended to reflect last-minute changes in student numbers.

This cut down version may or may not include a bank of Recipes according to your teaching needs.
If using Recipes the user can select the number of portions of each recipe required then adapt the exact requirements as needed.
